Natural Cures for Anxiety

I married my loving husband in a beautiful church ceremony ten years ago. After our wedding, I moved into my spouse’s home. Unfortunately, the move required me to live 75 miles away from my family. Because I missed my parents, my grandmother, and my sister so much, I started experiencing anxiety. I didn’t wish to take medication for this condition. So, I researched natural anxiety cures. I was surprised to learn that eating some foods can help people battling this troubling disorder. Thankfully, by eating these foods, exercising, and thinking positively, I was able to overcome my bout with anxiety. On this blog, you will discover the best natural cures for anxiety.

How Hemp Oil Can Be Valuable In The Prevention And Treatment Of Some Diseases

Sergio Reyes

Hemp oil, such as from Hemp Victory Garden, is the only vegetable oil with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It contains 85 percent essential fatty acids, more than any other natural EFA oil, but is lower in saturated fats than most other oils. All these properties may make it beneficial in the treatment of several conditions.

Helps Balance Hormones in Menopause

Hemp oil contains gamma-linoleic acid, a precursor to prostaglandin PGE1. Prostaglandin PGE1 is a soothing and calming lipid which regulates hormonal balance, making it helpful in the treatment of menopausal symptoms. While this lipid is helpful after menopause, it can cause worsening of cramps during peri-menopause.

Helps Prevent Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a skin condition caused by an omega-6 fatty acid deficiency. Hemp oil applied topically and taken internally provides sufficient omega-6 content to prevent this condition. When applied to skin, it helps hydrate and oxygenate the skin cells.

Helps Prevent Demyelination of Nerves

Multiple sclerosis is a disease that causes the destruction of the myelin sheath, a membrane that protects nerve cells. A study showed that co-supplementation of a combination of hemp oil and evening primrose oil decreased the type of inflammation that increases the risk of developing MS.

Helps Prevent Varicose Veins

Hemp oil has anti-coagulant properties, which thin your blood and reduce blood clots associated with the formation of varicose veins. When taken internally and applied externally, it has also been shown to minimize existing varicose veins.

Helps Prevent and Treat Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma

A Finnish study in 2002 found that our eyes contain cannabinoid receptors. While not many studies have been done on this benefit of hemp oil, anecdotal evidence suggests that the anti-inflammatory properties of hemp oil can cause improvement in macular degeneration and glaucoma.

Helps with Heart Health

Because of its omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and its anti-inflammatory and anti-coagulant properties, hemp oil has shown promise in the prevention and treatment of heart disease. Patients taking anti-coagulant drugs should not use hemp oil without the advice and consent of your physician.

While hemp oil and other cannabinoid oils have been shown to be effective in the prevention and treatment of some diseases and conditions, it is always best to consult with your physician about interactions with any drugs or treatments you are presently taking. In otherwise healthy individuals, hemp oil is a valuable addition to your diet that shows promise in preventing the development of some debilitating illnesses down the road; however, using too much hemp oil may actually make some conditions worse, so proceed with caution and follow label directions carefully.
